Vacation Recap...

Happy 4th of July from the Cummings!

We are having a great summer. It's passing quickly! A few weeks ago we went to Orange Beach for a week. That week was perfection! The weather was beautiful and we had so much fun at the beach and pool. The food was great, too. We went to our favorite places and tried new restaurants, too. David and Matt even played golf a couple of times at the Orange Beach Golf Center.

We spend a lot of time out on the balcony of our condo. It's fun to people watch and feel the ocean breezes. It is so relaxing.

I don't know why but Matt took his backpack whenever we went out. David and I thought it was so cute!

We spent a lot of time at The Wharf, an entertainment, shopping and dining place in Orange Beach. Matt did the Skytrails. He was a little nervous at first but then he had a great time. He was in his element! He felt like he was on his favorite show American Ninja Warrior.

One late afternoon we went to see Million Dollar Arm at The Wharf. The movie theater was really neat.

We are so ready to go back! Can't wait till next year!

Alice in Wonderland

Beach Pictures 2014

Monday we took our annual beach pictures of the kids.  We're having a great time so far and the weather has been beautiful.  We may get some rain Wednesday but we may be ready for it by then!  Enjoy the pics of the kids.... especially the last one!

This last one has so much going on!  The kids are acting silly with Matt looking like somebody shot him and McKenzie looking like she's in a cheesy movie running down the beach to meet her boyfriend.  Meanwhile, in the background, we have a half naked old fisherman, a woman standing in the surf doing a Wonder Woman pose, and the best of all, a poor lady who had just done a face plant in the sand.  Enlarge and enjoy!

Alice In Wonderland

McKenzie had her dance show Friday and Saturday nights.  This year the production was "Alice In Wonderland" and it was wonderful!  McKenzie's dance teacher, Mandy Eaton, always does an amazing job of coming up with a good idea for a show and then creating the dances to form a really enjoyable and entertaining show.  Here are some pictures...

VBS 2014

This week our church us having Vacation Bible School. Matt is in the second grade class and this is McKenzie's first year to help since she is too old to go. She is a teacher helper in the 5 year old class and is one of the worship leaders with a few other girls in open assembly. Matt is having a great week and McKenzie is enjoying helping but realizing that she does not want to be a teacher ha!
