A Birthday, Christmas Decorating, and Pictures

We had a birthday in the family about a week and a half ago -- Max, the cat!  Max turned 13, which is 64 in cat years.  McKenzie and Matt wanted to have a celebration, so we picked up some cupcakes at Wal-Mart and had a "party" for Max.

After the party, Betty and the kids started decorating the tree.

We had one little section from the floor to about three feet that was full of ornaments!

 Our elf, Henry, has returned to keep a watch over the kids and make sure they're behaving.  He's a Red Sox fan, too!

Matt was enjoying a Christmas special Thursday night in his Christmas pajamas.
