GMS Beauty Review

Last night McKenzie was in her 8th grade beauty review. She did really well and had a lot of fun. She placed in the top 8! Lindsey Barrett did her hair and makeup this year. Here are a few pictures from the night....

Jordan helped the girls at practice the other day and also backstage the day of the pageant.  She was a great help!

Upward Basketball

Friday night was Matt's first Upward Basketball game.  This year they keep score in our league.  We won our first game 38-28 and Matt scored 18 points!  I didn't do a very good job of taking pictures or video this week.  Maybe I can get some better shots in the next few weeks.  Here's one picture of Matt and one of the team.

Saturday, Matt and I went to Delta State to watch them play Lee University.  Matt went to DSU for a basketball camp this past summer and it was fun to watch some of the players who worked in the camp.  Delta State won 64-61 in a nail biter.  Here's a quick video I found from the game of Quay Cotton with a great dunk.  Quay was Matt's team's coach in the basketball camp!
