Thanksgiving, The Sequel

Friday was Thanksgiving with the Cummings' in Eupora.  We enjoyed good food (thanks Nana!) and laughed a lot.  For the most part we did a good job of staying conscious, with notable exceptions of Caleb and Andy.  The girls did a little shopping and the boys stayed at the house and watched football.  Here are some pics from the day.

Thanksgiving selfies!

We text you a Happy Thanksgiving!

This was a fake throw by Matt.  Notice the ball behind his back.

Thanksgiving - Grenada

Happy Thanksgiving!  Thursday we celebrated Thanksgiving with Betty's family in Grenada.  Friday we'll head over to Eupora for the annual Cummings feast and food induced coma.  Here are some pictures from the day including pics of the big football game featuring Davis, Matt, Jacob, Patrick, and Ryan.

McKenzie Dancing!

McKenzie's dance studio, Charisma Dance Co., had a Christmas Bazaar Saturday and each dance class performed a song during the day.  Since it wasn't really a recital and none of the family got to see it, here are videos of her three performances.  Great job, McKenzie!

Itta Bena Homecoming

This past Sunday was another homecoming celebration at our old church in Itta Bena.  Itta Bena's homecoming is something we look forward to and really enjoy every time.  It's always so great to see old friends and show my family where I grew up.  And the food is always incredible!  This year was no different.  Jan's cousin, Steve Burton, was the guest preacher and did a great job.  After the worship service we ate a wonderful meal in the family life center.  Here are some pictures from the fun day of worship, food, and fellowship.

Halloween Fun

Halloween was a lot of fun this year! McKenzie decided she was too old to dress up and go trick or treating but we still have Matt! I asked him a few weeks ago what he wanted to dress up as for Halloween and he said he wanted to be a Ninja again like last year. So that is what we did. We hung out at the house for awhile and the kids gave out candy. That is their favorite part. I love our neighborhood because it is perfect for this holiday! We had the cutest little dressed up kids come by our house. About dark we took Matt trick or treating and he was so happy to add to his already growing candy collection from school. We came back to the house to hand out more candy and David and McKenzie went to the Grenada vs. South Panola football game. It was an exciting game in that Grenada was ahead most of the game which was not expected against this team who is always the best in the state. Grenada ended up losing but it was a great game. Here are a few pictures from the night!
