I have been really busy this week cleaning out and gathering stuff for my garage sale on Saturday. Amanda inspired me back in the fall when she started her "nesting" and had a garage sale and earned money for baby stuff. I decided to do the same and earn extra money to buy Matt a big boy bed for his new room I will be decorating in the coming months. It feels so good to declutter our house and make money at the same time. Mama and I are going to have the sale together at her house. I do hope it is worth it after the accident I had while cleaning out!
This is a picture of the wreckage left after I attempted to clean out the closet in Matt's room. I was only going to be in that closet for a minute and I didn't want to take the time to go get the stepladder so I just grabbed one of Matt's chairs and hopped on it. Evidently, I have gained more weight than I thought because soon after I stood on the chair it cracked and started wabbling. I knew I was going down and there was nothing I could do about it. The chair broke and I fell into Matt's basketball goal and tumbled to the ground along with all the stuff that was in my hands. I made a terrible crash and Matt came running into the room and breathlessly asked his favorite question, "What happened?! You OK, Mama?" followed by, "You cracked my chair!". I think he was more concerned about me than he was the chair......I think.

You have inspired me....
After seeing your "stuff" up close and personal yesterday I'm glad I'm not going to be there~you've got some GREAT stuff to sell. Jordan was pointing it all out to me!! You made the chair episode sound funny, but it had to hurt.I'm just glad tiny little you was standing in that chair instead of me.I can just hear Matt saying "what happened" since that's what he says all the time anyway.I'll bet your house looks different since you've cleaned out,but I always think it looks great anyway. You've got the talent for decorating for sure.
love,me
